Silk Road School's Spring Letter
As the chill of winter gradually melts into the earth, the messengers of spring quietly climb onto the branches. By the windowsills, along the paths, and around the corners, every beam of light and shadow at Renmin University's Jiangnan campus is imbued with a vibrant vitality. With the lens as our brush, we capture the gentle gifts of this season—a prelude to a new semester, written by both nature and youth. Silk Road School invites you to join us in savoring this beauty.
"Suddenly, a night of fragrant blossoms fills the air, spreading spring across the vast world." On the plum branches, where shadows slant delicately, deep red and pale pink buds unfurl in slow motion. In the next moment, a bee bursts into the frame, its fuzzy body dusted with golden pollen, clumsily completing an ancient ritual of pollination at the heart of the flower.
The camellia tree by the library corner is always the first to sense the changing temperature. Its lush, full blooms seem as though someone has melted vermilion, rouge, and the setting sun into a glaze, lavishly splashing it across the dark green leaves. Occasionally, a fallen petal lies on the stone path, still holding the graceful curve of a swan's neck, causing passing students to slow their steps.
The bell of the new semester has already rung. May students from all countries spark new ideas through diverse perspectives at Renmin University of China Suzhou campus, and together, write a springtime chapter that belongs to the youth of China and the world.
